Angola needs a solution that does not yet exist.

Angola is home to nearly 900,000 people aged 65 and over—a demographic that has surged by 46% in the last decade. Despite this growth, high-quality private residential care is virtually non-existent. Families with the means are forced to manage alone, either providing care at home without clinical support or sending their loved ones abroad.

A Orchid Care was founded to change this. We provide rigorous clinical care standards specifically designed for Angola, rather than simply replicating foreign models.

Why now?

Angola's elderly population is growing at approximately 3% annually. For the first time, the nation's middle and upper classes have reached the scale necessary to sustain premium private care. Furthermore, the Angolan insurance sector is actively seeking new products that they currently cannot offer, simply because the infrastructure to support them does not yet exist.

What we are building

Alongside select partners, we are developing Angola's first international-standard residential care concept. Every detail is engineered for the Angolan context from the ground up, ensuring it is never a mere adaptation of a foreign model. Project specifics are shared directly with partners during the due diligence phase.
